I have a degree in Electrical Engineering. While I am fascinated by the interaction of electrical and magnetic waves to produce electromanetic energy for practical usage, I never quite get the hang of the mathematics used for calculating three dimensional waveforms, especially when it was approximated down to triangular waves.
I am, however, quite proficient with software. My first blush with writing software was a brute force implementation of tic-tac-toe in Basic (for wihch I still have the source code ported to more modern systems). In graduate school, I studied computer graphics, learning how to use ray-tracing techniques to do photorealistic renderings.
